Male assaulted and cell phone stolen while walking in Nose Creek Park, located in Airdrie

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a male responsible for a robbery.

On Mar. 23, 2021 at approximately 7:00 p.m., a male was assaulted and his cell phone stolen while walking in Nose Creek Park, located in Airdrie, Alta. The male victim was walking under the train bridge when he was approached by a male who asked to borrow his phone. When the victim asked for his phone back, the suspect pushed him down to the ground and assaulted him. The male suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as:

· Indigenous or Asian

· Approximately 5’5

· Wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans and black Nike runners.
