Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects in relation to a southwest pharmacy robbery.
On March 25, 2021 at 11:44 a.m., two male suspects entered a pharmacy located at 27 Avenue and Saddleback Road with a large empty green duffle bag and a shotgun. The suspects reportedly jumped the counter of the pharmacy, pointed the firearm at the pharmacist and assistant, and directed them to open the safe. The suspects then filled the duffle bag with narcotics from the safe and exited the pharmacy, fleeing in a blue Volvo SUV.
On March 31, 2021, the blue Volvo SUV was found set on fire in the area of 28 Avenue and 111 Street. The vehicle was determined to be stolen prior to the robbery.
The first suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 years old, of average height with a thin build. He was wearing a surgical mask, grey long sleeve sweater, a dark puffy (possibly Reebok brand) vest, white gloves or mittens, dark pants and brown shoes with white and red details at the laces.
The second suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 years old, of average height with a thin build. He was wearing a surgical mask, a dark Under Armour hoodie, grey sweatpants and black (possibly Yeezy brand) sneakers, and carrying a large olive green duffle.
