Unsecured firearm and drugs seized; one person arrested as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Allardville, N.B.

Allardville, New Brunswick – The New Brunswick RCMP arrested a woman and seized an unsecured firearm and several types of drugs as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Allardville, N.B.

On April 14, 2021, members of the Chaleur Region RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Route 160. Members of the Northeast Crime Reduction Unit and Police Dog Services assisted during the search. Police seized quantities of what are believed to be cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and various prescriptions pills. Police also seized an unsecured firearm and drug paraphernalia. A 40-year-old woman from the community was arrested at the scene and later released pending a future court appearance.
