Acheson, Alberta – On April 29, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. Parkland RCMP responded to a report of suspicious vehicle and persons at a business located in Acheson. Two males and one female, wearing dark clothing and gloves, were observed crawling under vehicles.
All three were located and arrested without incident. A firearm and ammunition were located in the vehicle.
Tina Rader (25) of Slave Lake, Alta. was in possession of methamphetamine and had warrants for her arrest. She was charged for possession of an illegal substance.
Quintin Grey (25) of Edmonton, AB, had outstanding warrants for his arrest and provided a false name resulting in an obstruction charge. He and Ricky Loyie (44) of Edmonton, AB, both had conditions from previous offences and were charged with failing to comply with those conditions.
All three were additionally charged with:
· Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
· Careless use of a firearm
· Possession of firearm in motor vehicle
Tina Rader was held for a judicial interim hearing and was released. She is scheduled to appear in Stony Plain Provincial Court on May 26, 2021.
Quintin Grey was remanded into custody. His first appearance is scheduled for May 5, 2021 in Stony Plain Provincial Court.
Ricky Loyie was also remanded into custody. His first appearance is scheduled for May 3, 2021 in St. Albert Provincial Court.
