Grande Prairie RCMP Search Warrant leads to Drug Seizure; Cocaine, Meth and Oxycodone

On May 12, 2021 Grande Prairie RCMP Municipal officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of 75 Avenue and 115a Street.

Grande Prairie, Alberta – Grande Prairie RCMP arrested a male and seized drugs following a drug trafficking investigation.

On May 12, 2021 Grande Prairie RCMP Municipal officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of 75 Avenue and 115a Street.

During the search, several items were seized including what is believed to be:

· 40 grams of Cocaine

· 34 grams Methamphetamine

· 20 tablets of Oxycodone

Police also located drug paraphernalia, $503 in Canadian Currency, and items consistent with drug trafficking.

Nicholas Berry (33) of Grande Prairie has been charged with:

· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2

· Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000

Following a judicial hearing, Berry was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on June 14, 2021.
