Leduc RCMP charge three from Calgary, Redwater and Edmonton with mischief to vehicle

Leduc, Alberta – On May 17, 2021, at approximately 9:05 p.m., members of the Leduc RCMP and Edmonton International Airport RCMP responded to a report of suspicious males looking into vehicles at the Quick Park parking lot.

Officers immediately attended the area where they located and arrested three males without incident.

Geordie Wilson (33) of Redwater was charged with the following:

· Mischief under $5000.

· Fail to comply with release order condition x2

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Wilson was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Gregory Prince (27) of Calgary was charged with the following:

· Mischief under $5000.

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Prince was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Jonathan Brandingen (25) of Edmonton was charged with the following:

· Mischief under $5000.

· Fail to comply with release order condition x2

· Fail to comply with probation order x6

Following a judicial interim hearing, Brandingen was held in custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on June 24, 2021.

Theft of vehicle and theft from vehicle is something that can happen anywhere. Leduc RCMP suggests the following to help protect yourself and your vehicle:

· Always lock your car

· Remove all valuables every time you leave your car

· Have a working alarm system

· Install a GPS tracker in the vent your car is stolen
