Lethbridge police arrest two people for numerous outstanding warrants

Lethbridge, Alberta – The Lethbridge Police Crime Suppression Team (CST), with the assistance of the canine unit and patrols, arrested two people on the city’s westside for numerous outstanding warrants on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Andrew Whiteford, 31, was arrested on warrants for housebreak and commit assault, as well as failing to comply with release conditions. The Lethbridge man, who has a number of active charges before the courts, was remanded in custody with a court appearance set for June 7, 2021.

Misty-Rae Visser, 36, was arrested on seven warrants including flight from police, possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The Lethbridge woman, who has a number of active charges before the courts, was remanded in custody with a court appearance set for May 25, 2021.
