Male youth and his father assaulted in Nose Creek Park in Airdrie, Alberta

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are looking for any information regarding an assault which occurred at Nose Creek Park in Airdrie, Alta.

On May 14, 2021 at approximately 10:05 p.m., Airdrie RCMP were called to an altercation at Nose Creek Park. A male, female and child were at the park with an unleashed dog. The victim indicated that his children were afraid of the dog and asked for it to be leashed. Shortly after this request was made, the male suspect assaulted a youth male and his father. The father suffered serious injuries as a result.

RCMP are asking anyone with surveillance near Nose Creek Park to review their video on the noted date between the hours of 9:30 and 10:30 p.m.

The male suspect is described as:

· Caucasian male

· Average size

· Wearing a grey baseball hat

· Walking with a female, a small child and the dog
