Lethbridge Police seize significant quantity of methamphetamine as a result of arrest

Lethbridge, Alberta – The Lethbridge Police Service Priority Crimes Unit (PCU) arrested a man on outstanding warrants on Thursday, June 3, 2021, and in the process seized a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

The PCU, with assistance of patrol members, arrested the Lethbridge man and found him in possession of 219 grams of methamphetamine, valued at more than $13,000, as well as a small amount of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy).

Robert Kenneth Laing, 31, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of the proceeds of crime. He was remanded in custody to appear in court Friday, June 4, 2021.
