Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit Yukon RCMP charge three for drug trafficking in downtown Whitehorse

Whitehorse, Yukon – On May 28, 2021, the Crime Reduction Unit arrested three men in a vehicle suspected of drug trafficking.

A search of the men and vehicle found and seized the following items:

approximately 24.7 grams of crack cocaine packaged in 54 individual packages

approximately 11.4 grams of powder cocaine packaged in 20 individual packages

Canadian currency: Approximately $500.00

Joseph Porter, Dylan Armstrong, and Taylor Duke, all from Whitehorse were charged with the following:

Possession of Schedule 1 (Cocaine) for the Purpose of Trafficking

Trafficking Schedule 1 (Cocaine)

They have been released on conditions with a next appearance date of June 9, 2021.
