Wood Buffalo RCMP seeking assistance to identify suspects in home invasion

Fort McMurray, Alberta – Wood Buffalo RCMP are looking for help to identify suspects involved in a break and enter that occurred at a residence in Dickinsfield, Fort McMurray, in April of this year. Due to recent availability of video surveillance, the RCMP are now looking for public assistance.

On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at approximately 4 a.m., four masked and armed suspects forced their way through the front door of a residence in Dickinsfield. All four suspects wore coverings on their head and face. One of the suspects captured on camera (attached photo) was wearing a unique face mask. The suspects did not interact with the residents, who were home at the time, and no one was physically injured in this incident.

The vehicle associated with the suspects in this incident is believed to be a 2006-2011 Honda Civic 4-door sedan or Acura CSX, with five-spoked rims as visible in the attached photo. The color of the car is undetermined due to night-vision camera surveillance.

Suspect 1(in photo) is described as: Heavy build, wearing face covering that was grey, with black spots and blue edge.

Suspect 2: Thin build, wearing a blue hoodie with Batman logo (center chest), dark pants and dark shoes.

Suspect 3: Heavy build, wearing a blue Carhartt zip-front hoodie(with vertical text on left chest), dark pants and light colored work boots.

Suspect 4: Thin build, wearing camouflage pants, black footwear, black coat/hoodie, black balaclava and a backpack.
