Leduc, Alberta – On June 23, 2021 Leduc RCMP Drug Unit, with the assistance of Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Beaumont General Investigation Section arrested a male in Beaumont following a week long drug trafficking investigation.
The arrest resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of cocaine and 4 grams of heroin.

Amin Rafiei (27) of Edmonton was charged with the following:
· Trafficking controlled substance – Cocaine
· Trafficking controlled substance – Heroin
· Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking – Heroin
Rafiei was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on August 5, 2021.
