Airdrie Rural RCMP investigate aggravated assault at a gathering at the Balzac Community Center

Rocky View County, Alberta – Airdrie Rural RCMP seek the public’s assistance in identifying anyone who may have been present at a gathering at the Balzac Community Center.

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on July 4, 2021, RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing which occurred at the Balzac Community Center. The victim suffered life threatening injuries. There were 3 black males seen fleeing the area and police are requesting assistance in identifying them so they can be interviewed.

Stabbing – Alberta

Male #1 is described as:

· Black male

· 5’10 and 175-180 lbs

· Wearing a white T-shirt with pattern on it and white/beige pants

Male #2 & #3 are described as:

· Black males

· Approximately 5’8-5’9 and 160-170 lbs

· Both were wearing black clothing

RCMP are also interested in speaking with anyone who may have attended the party, particularly if they have any photos that were taken at the event.
