Wood Buffalo RCMP seek assistance in looking for missing elderly female, LOCATED

Wood Buffalo, Alberta – 49 year-old male was lost and feared drown after rescuing a 3 year-old family member from the lake

BACKGROUND

Wood Buffalo, Alberta – Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating a missing elderly woman.

On July 13, 2021 at approximately 11:43 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP were made aware that 73 year old Suzanne FORBES left Fort McMurray in a suspected attempt to drive back to Fairview, Alta. Forbes is driving a 2003 White Pontiac Grand Am with licence plate BDN 7013 (AB). Suzanne has a medical condition and her family is very concerned for her wellbeing.

Suzanne is described as:

· 4’11 and 93 lbs; slim build

· Grey hair and blue eyes

· Wearing a black, white and grey sweater, black pants and beige wedge heel sandals with black straps
