Grande Prairie RCMP seek public assistance in identifying robbery suspects

Grande Prairie, Alberta – (19-Aug-2021 2:57 PM) On Aug 18, 2021 at approximately 4:26 p.m. Grande Prairie RCMP received a 911 call of a robbery that had just occurred at a hotel in the area of 114 Street and 100 Avenue, in Grande Prairie.

Grande Prairie RCMP attended and further investigation indicated that three individuals believed to be two females and a male wearing face coverings and hooded sweatshirts entered the bar area while armed with firearms. The suspects threatened the employees in the establishment and obtained a quantity of Canadian currency before fleeing the store in what is believed to be a newer blue Chevrolet Impala. There were two customers in the bar at the time of the robbery. The employees and the customers were not physically injured during this incident.

Last seen wearing:

· Light blue RDS hoodie

· Black pants with white lettering

Description of second suspect:

· Female

Last seen wearing:

· Black pants

· Black sweater

· White gloves

· Blue undershirt

· Grey Running shoes

Description of third suspect:

· Male

· Tall with slim build

Last seen wearing:

· Wearing all black and white designs on the arms

· Carrying a grey backpack

Grande Prairie RCMP’s investigation into this incident is ongoing.
