Lloydminster RCMP respond to shooting at a residence; “male approached the house and discharged a firearm several times”

Lloydminster, Saskatchewan – On September 21, 2021 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Lloydminster RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at a residence near the 2600 block of 44th Avenue in Lloydminster. Preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle attended a residence in this area, and one of the occupants met with one of the residents of the house. During this meeting, another male approached the house and discharged a firearm several times.

Police were able to intercept the suspect vehicle, but were not able to apprehend the suspects due to the enhanced level of danger to the public that was created by the suspect’s driving pattern.

Lloydminster RCMP believe this was a targeted incident, with no additional random threat to the public. Police continue to investigate this matter.
