Grande Prairie RCMP investigating bomb threat at Grande Prairie Composite High School

Grande Prairie, Alberta – On September 23, 2021, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a bomb threat received by the Grande Prairie Composite High School located in Grande Prairie.

Grande Prairie RCMP, along with the RCMP Police Dog Services, attended and following a search of the school, failed to locate any explosive devices. The school has been cleared by the RCMP. As a precaution, all students were dismissed for the remainder of the day.

Grande Prairie RCMP continue their investigation into this matter.
