Driver instructor arrested for sexual offences that allegedly took place on the job

Port Saunders, Newfoundland and Labrador – Port Saunders RCMP arrested 48-year-old Hank Diamond of Nameless Cove on September 24, 2021, following an investigation into sexual offences that allegedly occurred, against a youth, while he was working as a driver instructor.

Diamond is charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation. He was released from police custody on conditions that include that he is not permitted to be in the presence of any person under the age of eighteen years without another adult being present.

He is scheduled to attend court on December 7, 2021, to answer to the charges.
