Portage la Prairie RCMP seize drugs and weapons

Portage la Prairie, Manitoba – On September 24, 2021, at approximately 11:08 am, Portage la Prairie RCMP, with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on 3rd Street NW in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Police seized five ounces of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, and multiple weapons, including a prohibited knife. Stolen property was also recovered during the search.

Dexter Roulette, 36, and a 55-year-old female were arrested. The female was released without charges. Roulette is remanded in custody and charged with Possession of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x2.
