Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is seeking photos and video following a shooting in the early hours on Sunday in the Whyte Avenue area.
At approximately 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, Southwest Division officers were called to the report of a shooting in the area of 81 Avenue and 104 Street.
When officers arrived, they located the male victim on the street and attempted life-saving measures, but he died on scene.
The EPS Homicide Section continues to investigate the death, and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.
Anyone with cell phone photos or video, or anyone with a dash camera who was in the area of 81 Avenue and 104 Street from 2 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, is asked to please contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Edmonton Police Homicide section investigating death of male
Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the death of a male early this morning in the Whyte Avenue area.
At approximately 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, Southwest Division officers were called to the report of a shooting in the area of 81 Avenue and 104 Street.
When officers arrived, they located the male victim on the street and attempted life-saving measures, but he died on scene.
A suspect vehicle was observed leaving the scene, and was located by police at a multi-unit residence in the area of 9 Avenue and 156 Street. Three people at the residence have since been taken into custody.
The EPS Homicide Section is leading the investigation.
