Okotoks RCMP investigate robbery at pharmacy

Okotoks, Alberta – At 10:15 a.m., on Oct. 4, 2021, Okotoks RCMP responded to a 911 call of a robbery at the Pharmasave in the 100 block of Milligan Drive in Okotoks.

Three dark skinned males wearing surgical masks and gloves, entered the pharmacy and assaulted the pharmacist who was the lone occupant of the store at the time. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash and narcotics.

It is believed the driver of the get-away vehicle waited outside.

The pharmacist received minor injuries however did not require medical treatment.

The RCMP are canvassing the public for dash cam footage in the area of Tower Hill and Sunset neighbourhoods as well as Milligan Drive between 9:45 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. on Monday Oct. 4, 2021.
