St. Albert, Alberta – On October 13, 2021, at approximately 8:40 p.m., St. Albert RCMP received a report that a wanted male may be staying at a local motel. Officers conducted an investigation and learned Edmonton Police Service had issued arrest warrants for Jade Buro (28) of Edmonton, Alta. Jade Buro was wanted for breaching conditions of a court order (x2) after reportedly removing an electronic ankle bracelet on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. Jade Buro was on 24-hour house arrest at the time for allegations of human trafficking and failing to comply with a previous release order.
Further investigation lead RCMP officers to believe Jade Buro was in fact inside a room at the said motel. At approximately 2:15 a.m. St. Albert RCMP were able to make contact with Jade Buro and arrested him without incident outside the motel room.
Jade Buro has been charged with the following:
· Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x4).
Jade Buro was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing and was remanded into custody. Jade Buro’s next court appearance is October 18, 2021, in Edmonton Provincial Court.
