Semi collides with rail bridge on Mayor Magrath Drive in Lethbridge, cleanup continues

Lethbridge, Alberta – ​At approximately 11:10 a.m. on Monday, October 18, fire crews responded after a semi-trailer collided with the CRP rail bridge while travelling northbound on Mayor Magrath Drive.

CP Rail has inspected the bridge and train service is now continuing. Crews are on scene and clean-up efforts are ongoing.

Mayor Magrath Drive at the CP Rail bridge and under Highway 3 will be closed in both directions while clean-up takes place. An estimated time will be updated this afternoon.
