High River RCMP requests assistance in identifying person involved in theft

High River, Alberta – On Oct 11, 2021 at 6:43 p.m., High River RCMP were dispatched to a theft complaint at a liquor store located at 1212 5th Street SE in High River. A High River RCMP officer attended the scene and determined that a male entered the liquor store and while looking around concealed a liquor bottle within his clothing. The male then approached the till, purchased some beer and departed the store with the liquor bottle still concealed within his clothing. The male departed the location on a bicycle.

Patrols were made by the High River RCMP, however the suspect was not located.

Description of suspect:

· Male

· Early 20’s

· Brow hair, short

· Medium build

Last seen wearing a “Tragically Hip’ hooded sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers.
