Lethbridge Police Priority Crimes Unit investigation nets weapons, drugs and money

Lethbridge, Alberta – A search warrant executed by the Lethbridge Police Service Priority Crimes Unit (PCU) at a westside home Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 resulted in the seizure of weapons, about $85,000 worth of drugs and almost $12,000 cash.

After PCU members witnessed activity consistent with drug trafficking, a search warrant was obtained and executed at a home in the 600-block of Aberdeen Crescent West with the assistance of the Crime Suppression Team.

Seized from the home and associated vehicles were: 661 grams of methamphetamine; 245.7 grams of fentanyl, 17.3 grams cocaine (crack); 35 hydromorphone pills; 37 morphine pills; almost $12,000 cash (proceeds of crime); and weapons including a shotgun, loaded Glock magazine; and Glock imitation airsoft handgun.

Bradley Stephen Paskiuski, 36, of Glenwood, has been charged with 18 offences including: five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; seven weapons-related charges; three counts of failure to comply with release orders; and possession of the proceeds of crime (over $5,000). He has been remanded in custody to appear in court Nov. 1, 2021.
