Two children transported to hospital following pedestrian collision on Crimson Drive near Carlyle Cres in Sherwood Park, Alberta – UPDATED

Sherwood Park, Alberta – On Nov. 3, 2021 at 5:40 p.m. Strathcona County RCMP want to advise the motoring public that the road is now opened in and around Crimson Drive and Carlyle Cres. Thank you for your patients during this incident.

BACKGROUND

Sherwood Park, Alberta – On Nov. 3, 2021 at 2:06 p.m., Strathcona County RCMP and Emergency Services responded to a collision involving two pedestrians on Crimson Drive near Carlyle Cres in Sherwood Park, Alta.

Two children have been transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The lone driver of the vehicle did not sustain any physical injuries.

The roadway remains closed for motorists at this time. RCMP collision analyst will be attending to assist in the investigation.
