Grande Prairie RCMP investigate peace officer impersonation

Grande Prairie, Alberta – Grande Prairie RCMP receive a report regarding a white truck equipped with red and blue lights, allegedly used to impersonate a peace officer.

On Nov. 3, 2021, between 12:00 a.m. and 12:20 a.m., the complainant was parked in the area of Pinnacle Boulevard and 114 Street when a white truck pulled in behind them and reportedly turned on red and blue lights from the dash of the truck.

The truck stayed for several minutes without any occupants exiting before leaving the area by driving North bound on Pinnacle Boulevard.

The suspect vehicle is described as:

· White Chevrolet truck

· Around a 2010 model

· Small lift kit

· Bright LED headlights

· Dark tinted windows

· Black detailing above the wheels

It is unknown how many occupants were in the truck and no description could be provided due to the dark window tint.

Grande Prairie RCMP’s investigation into this incident is ongoing.
