Marshal Iwaasa search continues on the second anniversary of his disappearance

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police continue to investigate the disappearance of Marshal Iwaasa, who was last seen two years ago today.

Iwaasa, who was 26-years-old at the time he was reported missing, was last seen by relatives in Lethbridge on Nov. 17, 2019. He told family he was returning to Calgary but hasn’t been seen or heard from since. His burned out truck was later located along a logging road in the B.C. backcountry and police have searched the area multiple times without success. A new search is anticipated this spring.

Iwaasa is described as 5’11” tall, about 170 lbs. with brown eyes, shoulder-length brown hair – usually worn tied back – and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, black pants, red hi-top shoes and a grey toque. His truck is described as a dark blue 2009 GMC Sierra, bearing license plate BLL-1099.
