Bonnyville RCMP seek public’s assistance in locating wanted female after alleged $60,000+ fraud at Boys and Girls Club

Bonnyville, Alberta – The Bonnyville RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted individual.

Bonnyville RCMP received a report from the Bonnyville Boys and Girls Club in January 2021, of alleged fraud by an employee in the amount of over $60,000. As a result, Bonnyville RCMP launched an investigation that resulted in charges against Petcharnin (Patty) Cowden (37) of Cold Lake, Alta., for:

· Fraud greater than $5,000 (x6)

· Fraud less than $5,000 (x5)

· Forging a document (x3)

Bonnyville RCMP were unable to locate Cowden and obtained a warrant for her arrest in July 2021. Bonnyville RCMP’s efforts to located her have been unsuccessful and so the assistance of the public is being sought.

Cowden is described as:

· Light complexion

· 5’3” tall

· 145 lbs

· Brown hair

· Brown eyes
