40-year-old man deceased after snowmobile goes through ice

Young Loon Lake, Saskatchewan – On November 18, 2021 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Big River RCMP responded to a report of a snowmobile that had fallen through the ice on Young Loon Lake.

Investigation determined that a 40-year-old male from the area had driven a snowmobile onto the lake and fell through the ice.

Shortly after, the male was located in the water and was pronounced deceased.

His family has been notified.
