Boyle RCMP seek public assistance to identify suspects in violent altercation in Athabasca County

Athabasca County, Alberta – Boyle RCMP seek public assistance to identify suspects in violent altercation that occurred at a party which was held at a place locally known as Donatville Dunes, in the area of Range Road 184 and Township Road 662 in Athabasca County.

In the early hours of Oct. 23, 2021, Boyle RCMP with the assistance of Lac La Biche RCMP responded to calls for service relating to two victims with stab wounds at local area hospitals. A third victim was later identified. All three victims suffered non-life threatening injures. They were treated at hospital and released.

Boyle RCMP attended the scene of the altercation, however all those that had been in attendance had left.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a group of youths and young adults held an outdoor party at Donatville Dunes. Two suspects attended the party and a physical altercation occurred resulting in the injuries to three males. The suspects fled the scene in a dark coloured pick-up truck.

The first suspect is described as:

Male

wearing a red vest, black hoodie, dark pants, and a blue face mask commonly used for COVID

The second suspect is described as:

Male

Wearing a sweater with a white hood with lower portion being blue

Boyle RCMP investigation is ongoing.
