Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service has charged a second man in relation to a homicide that took place in early May.
Shortly before midnight on Monday, May 3, 2021, Northeast Division officers were called to the report of a deceased male at a multi-unit residence in the area of 66 Street and 120 Avenue.
Following an autopsy completed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday, May 6, 2021, investigators initially deemed the death of 64-year-old Peter Meyer as suspicious. Meyer’s death has since been deemed a homicide, and the cause of death is blunt force trauma.
