If you must drive, go slow and leave extra space between yourself and other vehicles

Keep emergency equipment and warm clothing in your vehicle

With cold weather, we also see an increase in vehicle thefts. Parkland RCMP would like to remind everyone not to leave your vehicles running and unattended for any amount of time. It takes only seconds for an unlocked vehicle to be stolen when the keys are left in the ignition.
