Autopsy complete in north Edmonton death; “died as a result of blunt force trauma”

Edmonton, Alberta – A Nov. 30, 2021 autopsy conducted by the Edmonton Medical Examiner has confirmed that Carlo Deluca, 50 died as a result of blunt force trauma, and the manner of death has been deemed homicide.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, Northeast Division officers responded to the report of a deceased male at a residence in the area of 133 Avenue and 90 Street. Upon arrival, they found Deluca deceased. Homicide Section is investigating.

BACKGROUND

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the suspicious death of a male in north Edmonton.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, Northeast Division officers responded to the report of a deceased adult male at a residence in the area of 133 Avenue and 90 Street.

Homicide detectives have since taken over the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 29, 2021.
