Hanley, Saskatchewan – On December 2, 2021 Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team arrested a woman in relation to a Controlled Drug and Substance Act investigation in the Hanley, SK area.
The investigation determined cocaine was being trafficked out of a local business in Hanley by an adult female employee. It is not believed anyone else at the business was involved and no one else at the business was aware the drug trafficking was occurring.
Randi Mallett of Hanley, SK is charged with:
2 counts, trafficking (cocaine), Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2 counts, possession of the proceeds of crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a) and 355(b), Criminal Code.
She will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on February 22, 2021 at 2 p.m.
“We’re pleased that as a result of this arrest and charges, we’ve been able to disrupt the cocaine supply in Hanley and area – it will help make the communities the RCMP serves in this area safer,” says Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team Sgt. Kory Davidsen. “The Saskatchewan RCMP is committed to combatting illicit drugs, which put lives in danger and increases crime in our communities.”
This investigation was supported by specialized Saskatchewan RCMP units including the North Battleford Crime Reduction Team, Federal Serious Organized Crime Unit and Saskatchewan Digital Forensic Services.
