Athabasca RCMP investigation results in drug seizure in the community of Calling Lake, Alberta

Athabasca, Alberta – On Dec. 15, 2021, Athabasca RCMP Detachment and Athabasca RCMP Traffic Services Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the community of Calling Lake, Alta.

The search resulted in a seizure of: 44 grams of methamphetamine, 201 various prescription pills, a variety of drug paraphernalia items and 700 dollars in gift cards/ Canadian currency.

Leslie Troy Bigstone (41) of Calling Lake has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. Two additional people were also arrested on outstanding warrants.
