Winnipeg, Manitoba – During the evening of December 22, 2021, members of the Guns & Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and other officers, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Collegiate Street as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Several individuals were taken into custody, including a male and female who initially refused to exit the residence but later surrendered and a female found inside.
A number of items were seized from within the house, including the following:
– 51 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $5,000)
– 5 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $250)
– Score sheets
– A digital scale
– 40 shotgun shells
– 9 7.62×39mm cartridges
Trevor Courtney Roesler, a 36-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Traffic in Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
– Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x2)
– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x4)
He was also arrested on the strength of a warrant for:
– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order
Laura Jeanne Powell, a 26-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
– Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x8)
She was also arrested on the strength of a warrant for:
– Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order (x5)
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Both were detained in custody.
A 21-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing charges of:
– Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was released on an Appearance Notice (as mandated by the Criminal Code).
