Regina Police charge 37-year-old male with First Degree Murder

Regina, Saskatchewan – A 37 year-old male is charged with first-degree murder in relation to the death of a 24 year-old Regina male earlier this month.

Police and Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) were dispatched at approximately 10:49 a.m. on December 16, 2021, to the 1400 block of Cameron Street for a report of a house fire. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered a deceased person and the investigation shifted to include a death investigation by police and the coroner. Investigation into the matter determined the death to be the result of homicide.

The victim has been identified as 24 year-old Morgan BLIND of Regina.

As a result of the investigation, 37 year-old Percy PASCAL of Regina is charged with:

Murder, First Degree [CC 235(1)]

Possession of a Firearm [CC117.01(1)]

Fail to Comply [CC145(5)(A)]

PASCAL appeared in Regina Provincial Court on these charges yesterday, December 23, 2021.
