Davinia McKinney, 21, (nee Carter), Reported Missing in Edmonton, Alberta – LOCATED

Edmonton, Alberta – A 21-year-old female listed as missing in a Dec. 30, 2021 EPS News Release has been located.

The woman was found deceased. Her death has been deemed non-criminal in nature.
BACKGROUND

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 21-year-old woman.

Davinia McKinney, 21, (nee Carter) was last seen leaving her west-end residence in the Belmead neighbourhood near 182 Street and 90 Avenue, after speaking with her husband on a social media app at approximately 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021.

Davinia left on foot, leaving her purse, cell phone and wallet behind. She is described as a white female approximately 5’7” tall, weighing 120 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair.

It’s believed McKinney is not dressed for the current inclement winter conditions. McKinney’s disappearance is considered out of character and as such, her family and police are concerned for her wellbeing.
