Prince Albert RCMP investigating aggravated assault, warrant issued for Durwin Cook

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – On January 1, 2022 at approximately 9 p.m., Prince Albert RCMP were dispatched to a report of an assault at an RV park just south of Prince Albert.

Investigation has determined that two adult males were involved in an altercation. It was reported one male assaulted the other, then stole his vehicle. The male was transported to hospital with injuries that are described as serious but non-life-threatening.

As a result of investigation, Prince Albert RCMP have charged Durwin Cook of Prince Albert, SK with:

1 count, aggravated assault, Section 268(2), Criminal Code

1 count, robbery with other offensive weapon, Section 344, Criminal Code

A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Prince Albert RCMP are actively working to locate and arrest him. The stolen vehicle has been located.

Durwin Cook is described as approximately 5’9″ and 155 lb. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photo of him is attached.
