Leduc, Alberta – Leduc RCMP in partnership with Leduc Public Library have book-ed more time to “R.E.A.D. with the RCMP” to foster a love of reading and connect kids to the community through literacy.
Leduc RCMP and Leduc Public Library invite you to read-along and get lost in a good book with your local RCMP, Constable Cheri-Lee Smith by checking out the video links which are posted on the Leduc Public Library’s Facebook page, Instagram page and website – www.leduclibrary.ca. There will be monthly videos posted to follow on Wednesday Jan. 12 and Feb. 9, 2022 at 10 a.m.
Leduc Public Library will also be hosting drop-in “R.E.A.D. with the RCMP Literacy Program” sessions on Thursday Jan. 6, Feb. 3 and March 3, 2022 at 10 a.m.

“The opportunity to connect with youth in the community while reading not only helps promote literacy, but it builds positive relationships between children and police officers” says Constable Cheri-Lee Smith. “This is something Leduc RCMP will continue to make a priority.”
