Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit seeks public assistance in Air Ronge homicide investigation

Air Ronge, Saskatchewan – The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate a homicide that occurred at a residence on Waco Drive in Air Ronge on January 8, 2022. The victim, who was the occupant of that residence, has been identified as 46-year-old Jennifer Hendry of Air Ronge, SK.

Investigators are now asking for the public’s assistance:

– Please look at the picture and the video, available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41CQnBL9SAU. The photo/video are the best quality we have available at this time. They show an individual that investigators would like to identify and speak with, as they may have information important to this investigation. If you recognize the person in the photo/video, please contact the La Ronge RCMP.

– Anyone in the greater La Ronge area that has a video surveillance system is asked to check footage from the evening of January 7 to the morning of January 8. If the same individual shown in the photo/video is present in any captured video footage you have – please contact the La Ronge RCMP.

– Investigators continue to ask that people with property in the area check to determine if they have been the victim of a property crime. Residents in the area are asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the La Ronge RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

La Ronge RCMP and the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit are currently investigating the homicide of an adult female that occurred at a residence on Waco Drive in Air Ronge in the early morning of January 8, 2022.

Investigators believe there may have been other property related crimes in the area and ask that people check their properties to determine if they have been the victim of a crime. Residents in the area are asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the La Ronge RCMP Detachment at 306-425-6730, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or 911 in an emergency.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Historical Case Unit, Technological Crimes Unit and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
