Red Deer RCMP arrest three suspects from Lloydminster for aggravated assault

Red Deer, Alberta – At about 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2022, Red Deer RCMP responded to a report of a male who had been assaulted at a residence in the Highland Green neighbourhood. When officers arrived at the scene, the injured male provided a description of the three suspects and their vehicle.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injures. A short time later, police located both the suspect vehicle and the three suspects in a commercial area in south Red Deer. The suspects proceeded to drive to a nearby TD bank and park, at which time officers arrested the three suspects without incident.

As a result of the investigation the three suspects have been charged with numerous counts.

Shane Donnally (43) of Lloydminster is charged with:

Robbery with a firearm

Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

Uttering threats

Aggravated assault

Assault with a weapon

Possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle

Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Pointing a firearm

Possession of a firearm contrary to order

Disobeying court order

Failure to comply with conditions

Jason Krysta (31) of Lloydminster is charged with:

Robbery with a firearm

Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

Uttering threats

Aggravated assault

Assault with a weapon

Possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle

Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Pointing a firearm

Possession of a firearm contrary to order (x2)

Disobeying court order

Corey Morris (30) of Lloydminster is charged with:

Robbery with a firearm

Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

Uttering threats

Aggravated assault

Assault with a weapon

Possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle

Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Pointing a firearm

Possession of a firearm contrary to order

All three individuals have been remanded and are set to appear at Red Deer Provincial Court on Jan. 26, 2022.
