Parkland RCMP request public’s assistance with theft investigation; “theft of donation box from a local store”

Stony Plain, Alberta – On Jan. 7, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m., Parkland RCMP received a report of a theft of donation box from a local store. At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2022, a female entered the store and allegedly misrepresented herself as a member of the charitable organization associated to the donation box. She left with the box containing an unknown amount of cash.

Video footage on site was able to capture the incident. The female is described as;

· Fair complexion

· Long black hair with bangs

· She was seen wearing a black and white patterned coat, red shirt, black pants, and black facemask.

Parkland RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying this woman.
