Winnipeg Police charge 29-year-old man with Homicide of Robert Randall ANDERSON

Winnipeg, Manitoba – On January 13, 2022, the Winnipeg Police Service issued a release regarding the murder of Robert Randall ANDERSON. Homicide Unit investigators identified Ryan Joseph ROULETTE as a second suspect in this murder.

On January 16, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., General Patrol officers attended the 200 block of College Avenue for an unrelated matter where ROULETTE was taken into custody and turned over to the Homicide Unit.

Investigators determined the previously arrested (James Houle) and ROULETTE were known acquaintances to the deceased. On December 31, 2021, while armed with firearms, they attended a residence in the 300 block of Alexander Avenue and confronted ANDERSON. An altercation occurred where ANDERSON was shot and killed, and the two accused fled the area.

Ryan Joseph ROULETTE, 29, of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

– Second Degree Murder

– Possess Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 3

– Warrant for Apprehension and Suspension of Parole/Statutory Release

He was detained in custody.
