Parkland RCMP request public’s assistance identifying break and enter suspects

Stony Plain, Alberta – On Jan. 18, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Parkland RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle and break and enter to a residence in Country Plains Estates, south of Stony Plain.

Video footage captured a white Volkswagen Golf pulling into the driveway at approximately 2:20 p.m. that day. Two suspects were associated to the vehicle.

The male suspects had a thin build, and was wearing a ball cap, black jacket, track pants, white shoes, a mask and gloves. He allegedly entered the residence through a window and rummaged through the entire residence. Tens of thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen, and a can of bear spray was left behind.

The female suspect had a medium build, and was wearing a touque, black jacket over a black hoodie, black track pants, white shoes, and a mask.

The victim’s vehicle was also stolen when the suspects left the residence. It was recovered by Edmonton Police on Jan. 19, 2022.

On Jan. 20, 2022, at approximately 2:40 p.m., another break and enter was reported. A male was observed attempting to gain access to a residence through a basement window in the area of Devonridge Estates, Spruce Grove, Alta. When confronted, the male allegedly fled with a female in a white Volkswagen Golf. Parkland RCMP believe this may be the same vehicle. Both incidents are still being investigated.
