Innisfail, Alberta – On Feb. 16, 2022, at6:35 a.m., Innisfail RCMP were dispatched to a complaint involving a suspicious male walking through an Innisfail neighborhood attempting to get into unlocked vehicles. Over the next few hours, other citizens in the area began reporting other thefts from vehicles and posting about the same suspicious male on social media.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. police, with the assistance of Innisfail Community Peace Officers, located the suspicious male who was taken into custody.
Tyson William TAYLOR (19) of no fixed address, has been charged with:
· Attempted theft under $5,000
· Theft under $5,000 (x2)
The public is reminded that if the see suspicious activity to report it to police immediately.
