Six Roads , New Brunswick – The New Brunswick RCMP has seized what is believed to be cocaine and 11 firearms , including one that was stored in an unsafe manner, as part of a drug trafficking investigation in Six Roads, N.B.
On February 25, 2022, police executed a search warrant at a home on Grand Carey Road. During the search, police seized a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine, 11 firearms, money, drug-trafficking paraphernalia including digital scales, and various types of ammunition.
A 53-year-old man and 52-year-old woman, both from the community, were arrested in connection with the investigation. They were both later released and are scheduled to appear in Tracadie Provincial Court on May 24 at 9:30 a.m.
The investigation was conducted by the Provincial Crime Reduction Unit, which includes police officers from the New Brunswick RCMP and Fredericton Police Force. Members of the Tracadie RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services assisted with the search. These efforts focus on disrupting and dismantling the trafficking of illegal drugs in our province, targeting those causing the most harm in our communities.
