Leduc County, Alberta – (10:49 AM) Leduc Integrated Traffic Unit are currently on scene of several collisions on QEII at Highway 616 in the south bound lanes. South bound QEII traffic is being asked to use alternate routes
Icy road conditions are believed to be a factor and drivers are urged to use caution and avoid driving in the area if possible.
Motorists are asked to ensure they check Alberta 511 before any travel this evening and into the morning for the most up-to-date highway conditions and plan their travel accordingly. Re-routes are to be expected if collisions do occur on major highways.
