Valleyview RCMP investigate Hit and Run Collision; “50-year-old Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation resident had been struck by a vehicle”

Valleyview, Alberta – On March 29, 2022 just after 11:00 pm Valleyview RCMP received a report of a person on the road on Highway 43 and Range Road 230A. Upon arrival, RCMP observed that a 50-year-old Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation resident had been struck by a vehicle. The victim has been transported to Grande Prairie Hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP are asking individuals who may have witnessed the collision or who have dash camera footage of Highway 43 near Range Road 230A from 09:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on March 29 to come forward.
